Connecticut: New Rule for Employee Freedom of Speech and Conscience - Effective July 1, 2022

Beginning July 1, 2022, a new Connecticut law prohibits an employer from firing, threatening, or disciplining any non-managerial employees who choose not to read a communication, listen to a speech or attend employer-sponsored meetings if the employer is primarily communicating their political or religious opinions.
