District of Columbia: Minimum Wage Increase
Effective July 1, 2022, the minimum wage rate for nonexempt employees will increase to $16.10 per hour, to reflect changes in the cost of living. The new rate will apply to all employers regardless of size.
A new minimum wage rate poster has been published by the district’s Department of Employment Services, and must be displayed in a prominent place for employees to view.
