Hawaii:  Minimum Wage Rate Change

Effective October 1, 2022, the Hawaii hourly minimum wage will increase to $12.00.

Employers should be advised that Hawaii plans to raise the minimum wage to $18.00 per hour as follows:

• January 1, 2024 increase will be to $14 per hour;

• January 1, 2026 increase will be to $16 per hour; and

• January 1, 2028 increase will be to $18 per hour.
