OFCCP Announces Increase to Veteran Hiring Benchmark
The OFCCP announced that effective March 31, 2021 the national annual veteran hiring benchmark will increase to 5.6%
The Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), was created to prohibit federal contractors and subcontractors from discriminating against protected veterans.
VEVRAA requires federal government contractors who are required to develop an affirmative action program (AAP), to include a hiring benchmark every year for protected veterans.
