Minneapolis, Minnesota Minimum Wage Increases Scheduled
City of Minneapolis Minimum Wage Increases:
$14.50 an hour for employers with 100 or fewer employees effective July 1, 2023
$15.19 an hour for employers with 101 or more employees effective Jan. 1, 2023
$15.57 an hour for employers who have 101 or more employees effective Jan. 1, 2024
$15.57 an hour for all employers regardless of their size effective July 1, 2024
January 1, 2025 and going forward the minimum wage for small and large sized businesses will increase together. Tips and gratuities do not count toward minimum wage payment.
